DPN November Meet-Up
We had a good turnout this past Tuesday at Duggan’s in Royal Oak.
Apart from myself, Les, Jasper, and Mike; we had James (Ekobase) and his wife, Jess, who produces Vegan-A-GoGo, a video podcast vegan cooking show. http://veganagogo.com/ Also showing up was Randolph, who has a band called Deastro http://www.myspace.com/deastrothetracker , and Shawn Amberger, who is a cartoonist, illustrator and graphic designer, http://www.non-redundant.com
James mentioned he is thinking of adding a show aggregator to our DPN site to have the latest DPN shows on the site. The Comics Podcast Network, of which Mike and I are members of, do this: http://comicspodcasts.com/ . Thanks James! Cool idea. We welcome everyone’s thoughts and ideas to make the DPN better for all.
Mike wants to let everyone know that he’s organized the Most People Are DJs Showcase at the Pike Room in Pontiac on January 20th - with (the aforementioned) Deastro, Ether Aura, Otoo Vector and more. There'll be artwork on display and giveaways.
Also, as all of you know, we always try to meet on the final Tuesday of the month. It turns out that this year that falls on Christmas. I’d like to see if we can move it up to Tuesday, December 18th.

The September Meet-Up with be at Duggan’s Irish Pub in Royal Oak (Woodward and 14 Mile) on Tuesday, September 25 at 7pm
We picked this location because it is very central to all of us, so we’re hopeful for a better turnout then we did in August.
DPN July and August Meet-Up
We switched up the date in July moving to a Monday, rather than a Tuesday. We decided to have the gathering at Como's Pizza in Ferndale for 89X Night. Mike, Chris, Jasper and James (Ekobase) came out to enjoy lot's of good music and good times.
We hoped for a bigger turnout, but we realize the switch was made at the last minute and someone would rather spend his money to go to the Poison show the following night.
